CAPWAP Access-Point Controller-Registration via DHCP Option
In diesem Beitrag konfiguriere ich einen Windows DHCP Server und einen FortiAP, um die Controller-IP an den Access-Point per DHCP Option 138 zu deployen.
Windows DHCP-Server Konfiguration
Die Konfiguration der Windows DHCP-Server Option kann entweder per PowerShell oder per netsh.exe
durchgeführt werden.

FortiAP Konfiguration
Um den FortiAP auf DHCP umzustellen, verbindet man sich per SSH oder über die FortiGate CLI zum AP und konfiguriert den Discovery Type, sowie die DHCP Optionsnummer:
